This was such a rewarding project to work on. I was brought on by the KAT6 Foundation to create a motion graphics video that would help them quickly explain this rare condition for those who were unaware of it.

It had it’s share of challenges as I needed to learn how to portray the medical aspect of DNA accurately but also present it in a visual style that would be clear and easy for the viewer to understand. We also had many conversations about how to explain and convey the idea visually and through metaphor. Eventually the idea of the house and blueprints was brought up as an analogy that fit well enough.

This was my first time doing this particular art style that I have wanted to try for a long time and it turned out to be one the client loved.

Overall I’m thrilled with how this turned out and I’m even more honored to help bring more attention to a medical condition that needs more support and research.
